Marisa Huerta

Marisa Huerta graduated The University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Government with a minor in Journalism and Media studies. As a former state politics reporter for The Daily Texan, she plans to either work in politics in Austin or continue pursuing journalism. As a legislative director at McWilliams Governmental Affairs, she hopes to learn about how various policy proposals can create solutions for current problems within the community.
